Design Wall Monday–1/24/11

Check it out . . . . .

IMG_2743

This is from my Texas Braid class with Bonnie Hunter last Saturday.  I am using Moda’s Central Park fabric for the dark side, a dark brown batik for the cornerstone and a variety of scappy whites for the light side.  I love the fabrics, I love the results and I love having what I call “mindless” sewing to do.

Tomorrow I’ll share pictures of Bonnie’s quilt as well as some other braids from the class.   In the mean time, check out what others have on the design walls over at Judy’s Patchwork Times Blog.

Enjoy,

  5. This quilt is on my list to make. I have the book and have been tempted several time but my 2" strip bucket doesn't have much in it. I like it with a more modern look. I myself LOVE mindless sewing. It's therapy!

  6. Oh, how neat! I am taking 3 classes with Bonnie this weekend, and using up a lot of my stacked stash! That is a very good thing!
