Southern California Quilt Run

Southern California recently had their quilt run.  Believe it or not there were 38 shops on the run, covering a huge geographic area (too big, if you ask me).  I was only able to go one day, so I only had time to make it to 7 shops.

This year each shop designed an original block.  When you visited and got your “passport” stamped, you received the pattern for the block, along with a darling little charm.  On the front of each charm was their block and then on the back of most of them was the information about the shop.

Here’s the ones I collected.

They’re so cute, I wish I could have collected more.

Enjoy,

  1. Don't you love them? I have 24 this year, but only because the first weekend when we were in NE, my friend Beth's husband went with her and collected for me. But, I made it to 19 stores with her the next weekend. Did you see the pin on my blog? It is to collect the charms on. I might need to show that, huh?

  3. Very pretty. Looks like you went to quite a few that I didn't make it to (charms look different). Have you decided what you want to do with your charms? I was initially thinking of using them to embellish a wallhanging or purse. But have seen a few make necklaces, bracelets, or key fobs out of their collection. Really liked the necklaces that I've seen, so currently leaning towards a necklace.
