Saturday – Day 3 of Road to California

I’m home, tired, but inspired by the last few days.  Here’s a few pictures to close out day 3.  Don’t forget, you can click on the picture to enlarge it for better viewing.

I have know Mary Ellen Hopkins for many years so I was excited to here that she would be featured in the entrance area of the convention center.  I’d been checking over the last few day and finally as I was leaving this afternoon I saw Mary Ellen sitting behind a table selling her books.  I had very little time but was able to get to give her a quick hug before leaving.  These are the Mary Ellen quilts that were hanging as I left today.

I have a few more pictures for tomorrow, featuring the class I took today.  Also, tomorrow I will be drawing the name of the giveaway winner.

Oh, I almost forget, I wanted to show you a picture I took from the passenger seat of the car on the ride home.  Have I mentioned lately, I Love Southern California.

  3. Robin,

Glad to hear you had a good trip to Road. And thank you or sharing your photos & insights. While I enjoyed Road too, you saw some sites I didn't see (or don't remember seeing). LOL
