Lazy day in Houston

We arrived a day early with the thought of seeing some of the city and maybe taking a city tour, well that didn't exactly work out. However we did have a fun day. We had breakfast, shopped a little bit, had a glass of wine and then had linner (lunch and dinner combined).

Marilyn looked on line to see if any of Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives had visited any places close by. Sure enough she found this......







Lankford Grocery a little old house in the middle of a neighborhood. They only serve breakfast and dinner and close at 3:00, which explains why we had Linner. Marilyn had a burger and onion rings and I had tortilla soup, both we great..

When we got back, we had another glass of wine and hung out waiting for Sample Spree (more about that later).
