Design Wall Monday–October 20, 2014

First things first……..I will be speaking at Friendship Square Quilt Guild tonight.  All the information can be found here.  I’d love to see you.

Now on to my design wall.  This is the final week of my friendship groups round robin and the reveal is Wednesday night so once again I can’t show you exactly what I’ve been working on.  However I am going to share a “finish”.

This is my completed Robin Robin that I participated in with Quilts by the Sea.  I made the center and them 5 wonderful quilts add the 5 rounds.  I then turned it over to Russ at Bears Quilt shop to do his “magic”.  And boy did he.  His quilting was the perfect addition to the wonderful piecing.  Here’s some pictures.

Notice the binding with the little piping?  I love it, it’s just enough to set off all the color in the quilt.

Thank you Russ for doing such a great job quilting my quilt.  It’s already hanging in my living room.

To see what others are working on, check out Judy’s blog.

Enjoy,

  5. Very pretty. Love the brights with the black and all those quilted circles! The outermost corners are especially cool.
