Decisions, Decisions

I have 36 blocks made for my Bonnie Hunter Scrappy Trips Around the World.  I have two decisions to make.  First is 36 blocks enough?  They are 12” blocks so the quilt would end up square and measure 72” x 72”.  I am not a big fan of square quilts, although maybe it could end up a wall quilt. The second decision is the layout.  Should it be many trips or one big trip?

I could use your help.  Suggestions are welcomed.

So please, help a girl out, which one do you like best?

  1. I love them both. Such pretty colours. If you used the second layout you could make it longer and not have a square quilt. And I think I would go with the second layout anyway. It just has a bit more pizazz.

  2. love them both--but if it's for the wall, the one big trip looks Fab!! :-)

  3. Either would be great, but if I had to choose, I'd pick the second layout.

  7. I like both, but really love the first layout although there is one block I think if it were me that I'd change out. It seems to stop they eye on the lighter block in the right corner. I do like the top one more but that's my preference. I say go with your gut and what you like most.

  8. I also love both, but the many trips is my favorite. I just came from Quilt Odyssey in Hershey and took 2 classes with Bonnie - Smith Mountain Morning and Tumulo Trails. What fun!!! Love your quilt!
