The Quilters by the Sea guild meeting was last night, the night we turned in our list of UFO’s for the 2011 guild challenge. The first number was drawn and it was # 4. You can see my list here.

The first picture is the original one I showed you, at the time it was all folded up from being stuffed in a drawer.
The thread is glow in the dark thread that I bought back in July, just for this quilt. It also had to be located since it was stuffed away too.
This morning I dug the 9 Patch Surprise quilt top out and put it on my design wall so that I could star getting inspired.
Look what I found in my stash. I think it will make a perfect backing.
Now all I have to do is get it layered, quilted, bound, a label added and I will have achieved my first UFO challenge of 2011. Wish me luck.
