This will be my final post about the Road to California Quilt Show, at least for this year. Along with all the quilts that are entered in the show there are always a variety of special exhibitions. This year one of the exhibitions was “Quilting Makes a Difference”. There were 23 entries and each was totally unique and wonderful.
Below I am going to share just 8 of the quilts. Some of them will have just 1 photo and for some there will be a second photo showing a close-up. You should be able to click on the pictures to enlarge them so that you can see more of the detail.
You will notice each person was given an identical yellow and blue quilt top to quilt any way they chose. They were probably about 24” x 24”. It’s amazing to see the different approaches.
Here we go -
I wish I could have shown you all 23 of the quilts, but I think that’s going a little overboard. Hope you’ve enjoyed your trip to Road to California with me. I enjoyed having you tag along.
Enjoy,
Wow the quilting is amazing!
