2:30 Update of To-Do List

Well I’m plugging away but things are going slower than I had planned (there’s been a few interruptions).  I’m doing a buttonhole stitch on one of the blocks and I’m using my new machine.  What can I say, there’s a slight learning curve.  On my old machine I didn’t seem to need a stabilizer underneath  but after doing a leaf and a few pedals I stopped and added stabilizer.  It’s working much better but now I have to fight with the tear-away stabilizer to get it removed from the back.

Here’s the appliquéd block along with it’s inspiration.  I loved the stripes she used so I decided to mimic it but put the stripes on an angle.  I think its came out really cute. 

Along with this block I need to make a simple 9 patch. 

OK……enough goofing off…….back to work.
