Good bye Bernina–Hello Juki

My Bernina 820 has found a new home and is on its way to Oklahoma.  It was just way too much machine for me but it’s new owner works for a Bernina Dealer, knows the 820 and is excited to give it a new home.

So although I still have my good old reliable Pfaff, I have purchased a new Juki straight stitch machine to use as my everyday machine.  I’m guessing I will do 90% of my sewing on it and occasionally pull out the Pfaff when I need a zigzag or a buttonhole stitch.

Her she is all snug and ready to go in my sewing cabinet.

I am so happy to have found the right person for the Bernina and I’m delighted with my new Juki.  There is hardly any learning curve.  Just thread her up and start sewing.  BTW, for those of you that know me, you know how I like to sew fast and this baby sews FAST.

I’m a happy camper quilter.  Smile

Enjoy,

  3. I sold my Bernina 830 because it was too much machine for me too. I just purchased my Juki 2010Q in Decemeber and LOVE it. It has the most perfect stitch and is a work horse. I still have my smaller Bernina's that I take to class and appliqué with but my Juki is my number 1 machine now. I hate to think of all the money I lost on that Bernina but I am now so happy with my equipment.
