Last week I shared with you the block I am using as the center of a Round Robin that my friendship group is doing this year. As we go through the year I won’t be able to share the other blocks and borders since we are keeping everything a surprise until the review next October. But this is my friend Rob’s block. I will be adding the first border to her center. It is up on my design wall as I look for inspiration on what to do. I have a few ideas but welcome any suggestions.
To see what others have on their design wall, check out Judy’s Patchwork Times blog.
Enjoy,
I'd go for something to pick up the red or gold colors in the block. I also might do something with curvy lines to offset the straight lines of the triangles. But, that's just my thought. Can't wait to see how these all turn out. I love medallion quilts. They change so much with every round.
ReplyDeleteScreams for some applique, at least that's my opinion. ;-)
