My friendship group, The Wednesday Wacko’s, is starting a round robin beginning in January. The rules are minimal. A block no bigger than 48” all the way around the outside and you have to pass each round on, on time, so we don’t get bogged down. I am so excited to get this party started.
This is my center. It is a South African embroidery block that I did several years ago. I thought about turning it into a tote bag but never got around to it. I am so happy I never finished it, I think this is what it was meant for (I just didn’t know it at the time).

Enjoy,
This is such a wonderful beginning... love this stitchery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great center block! It will be fun to see how it is interpreted by others...

This will make a wonderful round robin - it is not like you need any more tote bags!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful piece for the quilt center! I love turning everything into a bag, but it is great that this piece didn't go that way! I love your work and look forward to seeing what the next person does with it.
