“Isn’t Red a Neutral”

IMG_3224

Unfortunately I’m not very good at labeling my quilts so I can’t tell you when this was made but it was been many years.  This was a guild workshop with Lyn Brown.   It was an exercise in color theory.   Most students used black, or a light for the background but not me.  I love red so that’s what I used.

Lyn will be teaching at an upcoming Two Wacky Women retreat.  We still have a few openings Open-mouthed smile.

Enjoy,

  3. I found that out, too (about background fabrics). I always used beiges or black and then I used prints instead (because they were on clearance) and what a difference! I don't know if I'm ready to try red, yet. I enjoy your blog. Thanks
