Off to the Long Arm Quilter

It’s been a while, but back in this post I showed you a top hanging on my design wall.   It was still pieced as a straight set and I was planning on finishing the top the following day (at least I had good intentions of finishing it).  Here I am well over a week later and finally I was able to complete the top yesterday.  Here it is before and now after.

What a difference a week and a turn can make.  Here are some close-ups of some of the blocks.

I’m wanting to update my Magical Slice and Dice pattern cover before Spring Market and I think this will work nicely.  We’ll see after I get it back from my friend Sue, my long arm quilter.  I’m thinking this will photograph well.

Oh, I almost forgot I need to go find a backing and get it pieced before I see Sue tonight.  I must have something I can use in my “stash”.  Wish me luck, I’m going in to search.

Enjoy,
