Last Friday I met with a group of friends for lunch and a Christmas gift exchange. This was my second year participating and it once again a delightful day. Although there are 12 women that participate, you only make 5 gifts and in exchange you receive 5 gifts. They are all hand made but may or may not be Christmas related.
Here’s what I made for my 5 gifts.
TV tray ironing boards. I have one and I love it so I’m hoping the 5 friends that got these will love theirs too. It’s perfect for sitting next to your sewing machine or taking along with you to a retreat, plus did I mention, they are really cute.
First I painted them bright candy apple red. Next I added 3 layers or cotton batting, 1 layer of Insulbrite, followed by this really cute cotton sewing fabric.
On a later post I’ll share what I received as my 5 gifts. They’re wonderful.

Enjoy,
I am sure they LOVED them ... I know that I would ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous!!! I certainly would love one... I've seen these at retreats but none as pretty as yours.
ReplyDeleteLove it - especially the red!
