I’m about 99% sure the person who’s round robin this is, does not read my blog. At least I hope not.
I am the second round of this guild sponsored round robin. The person before me added the lovely appliqued flowers. I spent a lot of time looking at it and finally decided to not try to compete with the applique and instead compliment it and let it be the star.
Once that was decided I pulled fabrics that I thought would work. For the most part they are old Robyn Pandolf fabrics from her Moda days. I proceeded to cut a whole slew of half-square triangles with a particular layout in mind. Once I had a bunch made I started playing with the layout in EQ7 and with the help of my husband we decided this was the best. I could have been making flying geese but instead these are all made from half-square triangles. Maybe I should play with EQ7 before I start next time………ya think?
So now it’s all packed up and ready to turn in at guild Tuesday night. I’ll be picking up the next round to work on at that time.
To see what others are up to this Design Wall Monday, head on over to Judy’s Patchwork Times blog.
Enjoy,
Looks great! I would post mine but I know that person probably looks at your blog. This has been lost of fun. Thanks for the support and kind words.
