As many of us do, on Christmas day I talked to my sister Melinda from Marietta, GA to wish her a Merry Christmas. She asked if my Christmas gift had arrived Unfortunately the answer was no, it had not arrived. After several weeks she called and said that it had been returned to her by the Post Office. My address is 4373 but the address of the house we grew up in is 4341, well you can guess which address she had put on the package. It’s a wonder she remembered our old address after all these years and it was with much relief that it had been returned to her, still in one piece.
When I got home from Road to California there was a package waiting for me. At last my long lost Christmas gift had arrived. I opened it up and look what was inside.
It’s me, Lady #27. My wonderful sister commissioned her from Carol Turznik. Carol blogged about my quilt here. You’ll have to scroll down about half way, Sharon #24 is first followed by me.
I love, love, love it. It’s already hanging on the door to my sewing room, and she looks perfectly at home there. Every time I pass by her, she makes me smile.
Thank you Melinda and Carol.
Enjoy,
It's wonderful! What a great gift! Would make anyone smile.
