Design Wall Monday–April 9, 2012

I still don’t seem to be getting much sewing done but at least my Granddaughter Emily is.  It’s spring break for her so she has a little time to sew.  This is a project that she’s making for her sister Natalia.

The pattern is my “Five, Ten, Twenty” and the fabric is from my stash.

She wouldn’t let me take a picture of her face while sewing, but she allowed me to take a picture of her hands.

This is the fabric that all the others were pulled to go with.

This is just the first 5 blocks with only 5 of the 20 fabrics showing.  It will be way more interesting once the other 15 fabrics are added to the mix.

  1. I wish my hands looked young like that...I bet she is a doll (show your face young lady)....
    Okay, no harassments....

Will look forward to the finished results.

  2. I love the mask fabrics... should be a lively quilt!

  3. I'm so glad we got to meet while you were here, it makes wishing you a happy birthday a much more personal joy! I hope it's been a great day for you.

  4. So nice to have her visit and sew! I hear it's your b-day today... Happy, happy birthday!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I love knowing that I'm not alone, blogging into thin air.
