I finished quilting all four quilts that need to be quilted right away (believe me, they’re are lots more). Now it’s on to the binding. Thankfully the binding is all cut, sewn, pressed and ready to go.
Here are the “almost” completed quilts.
I always have to remind myself that when I’m making samples, it’s not about the quilting it’s about the pattern and fabric. I certainly didn’t do any fancy quilting on these, just a big meander and a loopty-loop on one of them.
If you look at the picture below, you’ll understand that if I want fancy quilting I either send it out or do it on my new Bernina in the house. I swear this is one of the very first Handi-quilters but it does the job.
I’m now off to the gym and then back home to start on the binding.
Have a great day!
Just came to check out your blog because you left a note on mine. My you're prolific and they're lovely! I especially like the Red Lilies quilt -- such a simple pattern but so effective. The Alexander Henry fabric you show, "Simba" is wonderful, I've never seen it. I'll be checking out your blog now and then.
