I wish you all have a very happy and safe 4th of July. I am so very thankful that I am an American and can’t imagine living anywhere other than the great old USA. God Bless America!
Here are just some of my patriotic wall hangings/front door quilts.
This one’s made using Edyta Sitar’s 8 pointed star and the turned on point the Mary Ellen Hopkins way.
This one, is very, very old and is extremely faded. It used to hang on my front door but now lives in a basket.
This is a table runner that usually spends the month of July on my dining room table. This was made using a simple stack and slash method with just three fabrics to make the stars. I love the scrappy binding on it (it looks better in person).
As for the design wall, it’s currently my design table. I’m getting ready to cut out the pieces to recover another Walmart basket. This one will be used to hold items for an opportunity basket that my friendship group, the Wednesday Wacko’s, is putting together for the Orange Grove Quilters Guild Quilt Show later this month.
Out basket theme is wine and cheese so I think this is the perfect fabric for the outside. I need to narrow down the inside fabrics. These are just a few I’m auditioning.

Enjoy,
Your main fabric is just lovely. It has a watercolor wash feel and the colors are soft and appealing. Can't wait to see what you make of it.
