Design Wall Monday–January 4, 2016

I’m getting ready to head to New York for a short annual trip with my husband so it only seem appropriate to have a hand project for my Design Wall Monday. 

These are some Sashiko blocks that I started a while back.  They got put aside so that I could work on some other things but it’s a perfect project for me to work on while on the long flight to NY.  As you can see, I have completed 5 of them.  I’m currently stitching on the top left and I still have the top right to finish.  I think I’ll be using them for the outside of another shopping backet but the final decision will come later.

I’m hoping to get to Mood this week.  If you watch Project Runway you’ll understand.  If not, sorry about that but it a wonderful fabric store right in the middle of NY’s garment district.
